Russian-Soviet architecture is the architectural style of representative buildings in Russia and the former Soviet Union. It consists elements of the traditional Russian architecture which is primarily known for its elaborate churches, which are derived from Byzantine architecture with a central dome and a square plan and elements of the soviet Stalinism which uses the ideals from the ancient, renaissance and the baroque.
