An involvement is a connection between a company and a structure or a group of structures. This connection indicates that the company performed a certain predefined role with regard to that built object, and that its performance in that role has current or permanent historical relevance to both the company and the object. An involvement can be ongoing or a one-time affair; for example the property manager of a building is an ongoing involvement, and can be removed from display (or archived in a timeline) as soon as the involvement ends. On the other hand, a developer or engineer performs its role during construction, and will always be the relevant developer or engineer for that building.
