Faits

  • After the building's demolition the site was used for Chicago's central Greyhound Bus Depot. It is currently occupied by the Chicago Title & Trust Building.
  • Several curved bays projected from the façade between floors 4-15, including rounded corners similar to those on the Old Colony Building.
  • The building's design mixed Romanesque features with the simplicity of Chicago School architecture. The main entrance on Clark was a large rounded archway, and the third floor was a series of round arches.
  • The building featured a 7,000-volume law library for the use of all tenants. Its location near City Hall and the courthouse meant that the building catered largely to lawyers.
