  • Tallest building in Lee County until completion of Estancia at Bonita Bay of Bonita Springs in 2002.
  • The former hotel featured two outdoor pools, lighted tennis courts, a gourmet restaurant, a poolside lounge, a nightclub, and a 20,000-square-foot grand ballroom and meeting facility.
  • The hotel was one of the largest convention hotels in Southwest Florida with 16 meeting rooms for a total capacity of 2,900 people.
  • June and Johnny Cash vacationed at the hotel in 1987.
  • The former 417-room hotel closed in 2008. It remained vacant until it was sold in January 2015 for $13.5 million.

  • A new pyramid crown treatment, which appeared in the renderings for the Campo Felice renovation, was never built.
