  • The high-rise's name, Beau Rivage, means "beautiful river," referring to the Caloosahatchee River.
  • The high-rise offers its residents spectacular views over the Caloosahatchee River as well as the many bridges that link Fort Myers and North Fort Myers.
  • The tower was the first high-rise built in Fort Myers in 15 years since the city's first building boom of the 1980s.
  • The tower is located on the east side of Fort Myers' downtown historic district.

  • The high-rise's reinforced design will be able to withstand gusting winds of up to 130 miles per hour.
  • The high-rise's foundation of 485 friction pilings drilled 65 to 85 feet underground maximizes the building's wind load capacity.
  • Artistic renderings indicate that a flagpole was planned for atop the building, where a flag with the Beau Rivage colors (yellow, blue, and white) would have flown.
  • The luxury residential high-rise topped out in December 2003 and was ready for occupancy in late fall of 2004.
