  • It rises just north of the Interstate 94 West access ramps into Downtown Minneapolis.
  • The building's facade features exposed concrete, floor-to-ceiling glass, and zinc panels.
  • There is a modest entrance along 6th Avenue North, and a small one-story lobby projecting into the landscaped garden to the building's southeast.
  • The underground garage is reached via 5th Avenue North. It features an asymmetrical roof, also clad in zinc.
  • The southeast facade is totally glass, with recessed balconies, and faces the downtown Minneapolis skyline.
  • The northeast end leans toward the Bookmen Lofts, and features punched window openings in the zinc facade.
  • The final phase will include a one-story restaurant along 5th Avenue North.
  • The diagonal structural concrete trusses are visible from outside through the glazing on the southwest end of the building.
  • It takes its name from the neighboring Bookmen Lofts, a loft renovation of the 5-story Bookmen Printing Building.
