360 Condominiums

Structure générale

construit [achevé]

appartements en copropriété

  • Originally announced as a 558 foot tower with 40 floors and 421 units. The design was made slimmer and more units were added.
  • The final section of the spire was hoisted into place at 9:18 am CST on January 15, 2008.
  • The building surpassed The Merc in Dallas as the tallest all residential building in Texas, and held that title for a year until The Austonian was completed.
  • The name was inspired by Austin's history of having "360" in the names of many things such as Loop 360 and the Pennybacker Bridge, which is also known as the Loop 360 Bridge. The name was also given to the building for the 360 degree views that the building will have of downtown.
  • Surpassed the Frost Bank Tower to become the tallest building in Austin. The building is also the first tallest in the city that is not located on Congress Avenue.
  • The building has a terrace level above the 17th floor at 174 feet 2 inches above the street. The podium level, which contains the swimming pool and sundeck above the 8th floor, is 87 feet 6 inches above the street.
  • Tower crane lowered on January 20, 2008. Fully removed from site on January 28, 2008.
  • Tallest building in Austin from January 15, 2008 until June 29, 2009, surpassed by The Austonian.
