Glendale is the third largest city in Los Angeles County, after Los Angeles and Long Beach. Glendale was the home of the first paved airport runway west of the Rockies. Also located within the city is the famous Forest Lawn Cemetery, where many celebrities have been buried. The city is known for its large Armenian population, which makes up almost a third of its residents.
